7.19.2006 Metro! announces September Headliners
Implicit and Suneel return to Metro! on September 2nd and Farid is scheduled to perform on September 23rd.
As one of Washington DC's leading house names, Suneel is a regular fixture at popular dance venues such as Club Five and Nation (Cubik). His eclectic musical selection and passion for performance have made him one of the busiest house DJs in DC averaging over 30 events a year.
Farid, one of the founders and owners of Thievery Corporation's Eighteenth Street Lounge, is one of the most respected names in modern music. Faird delivers to his fans his newest album, Main Ingredient. Indian vocals, dub style drums as well as elements of the classic dance flavor run through this EP.

Metro! is proud to announce that Thomas Blondet will be back on August 5th and Om Recording artist Rithma will be performing on the 19th for Headliner Saturdays.

5.10.2006 Partnership with Culinary Institute of America to begin in June
Metro! was accepted by the Culinary Institute of America's Externship Site Program. In June, we will receive the first of our interns from this prestigeous school.
5.10.2006 Metro! hosts Food and Travel Writers Dinner
Metro! proudly hosted a successful 9 course dinner for 12 distinquished food and travel writers on Friday May 5th. The staff was met with a standing ovation during dessert (in the kitchen). These writers contribute to many journals including New York Times, Washington Post, Gourmet, Wine Spectator, Food and Wine, AAA, and Southern Living to mention a few. Thanks to all our Staff for producing a spot on representation of what Metro! does best!
