M E T R O ! The concept of Metro! came about from our visits to big cities, especially Montreal, New York, and Washington, D.C., where we have enjoyed the diversity and excitement that the cities have to offer. Having built an excellent reputation for fine foods at the lake, Andy wanted to bring his talents into his hometown of Roanoke. And where better for a cosmopolitan restaurant than downtown? The atmosphere of Metro! is, for lack of a better word, very metropolitan…light and airy, with unique colors and textures. The dining area and bar are very comfortable and inviting. The cuisine is Modern American. Refined Cuisine with no rules or inhibitions. The chefs use only the finest products, and display their mastery on our very grand custom designed Garland range. A beauty than can be seen from the restaurant and the street! A perfect compliment to the theater and downtown events, Metro! offers a great place for a pre-theater dinner or drinks and desserts later in the evening. We are so thrilled to be part of the development of downtown. We have enjoyed a wonderfully warm reception, with an amazing amount of support from the community.
